Open Clip Art Library Growing

OCAL, or the Open Clip Art Library, has received a couple of updates. The project is aiming to create an archive of user contributed clip art that can be freely used now has about 12,000 pieces to enjoy. Popularity of the project was one of the reasons of server-trouble, something that should now be overcome with the move to another host. The site has also become richer and more user-friendly. More is on its way, see the full list of updates on openclipart.org. Especially if you know PHP/MySQL you're invited to lend a hand on this project with a renewed focus.

I second that. Something similar with videos, or even vector animations would be great Dave Davis

A good thing for OCAL. With over 12,000 pieces? Probably the most comprehensive of clip-art archives. The full list of updates is very informative. Where am I to contribute my clip-art? And how? Thank you!

Too bad OCAL is down now. The good news is Google is going to donate a server to OSUOSL so they can use it.
