New Inkscape 0.44 Released

Inkscape, the popular cross-platform open source vector drawing tool, has a new version out. New features include a layers dialog, docked color palette, clipping and masking, improved SVG conformance, native PDF export with transparency, outline mode, node sculpting and an extensions (framework). As usual, the application can be freely downloaded and screenshots, and release notes are available.

Great news for developers! And a host of new features that are useful too! Free downloading certainly helps sweeten the deal! The release notes are very informative and useful too. More power to Inkscape!

Have had a chance to play with the new version of Inkscape and only have this one word to to say about it " Awsome " Inkscape There is no better opensource drawing tool on the planet or in cyberspace.. Alice Pretchet
